What age children do you accept at your Fiarfield Daycare Center?

We accept children 6 weeks of age through 9 years.

What are your hours of operation?

We are open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. - 6:45 p.m.

Why is it important that my child be in attendance by 9:00 a.m.?

Our Early Childhood Developmental Programs begin at 9:00 a.m. at which time our Daily Schedule of Routines is initiated. Later arrivals are permissible.

How long have you operated as a Child Development Program?

The Fairfield Educational Building was founded in 1975 and for those years has been under the same management.

What is the cost for my child to attend your Fairfield Child Care Programs?

The cost is determined by the age of the child and the number of children you are enrolling.

Am I responsible for bringing my child's breakfast, lunch and snacks?

No, A.M. and P.M. snacks and lunches are provided and are included in your weekly tuition.  We also serve breakfast for children arriving by 7:45 A.M.

Is your staff qualified to work with young children?

Yes, our Fairfield Daycare maintains a consistent staff and Board of Directors who posess Master Degrees in Child Care Administration, Masters in Education, Bachelor and Associate degrees in Education. Currently, 5 staff members are pursuing degrees in Early Childhood Education which is being financed by our Board of Directors. Our school maintains Ohio Department of Education Certified In-service Educators on staff. All staff participate in continuing education programs.

Do you have a high turnover in staff?

The majority of our staff have been with our school for several years. Many staff as long as 15 to 20 years.

Do you use a curriculum in your Early Childhood Developmental Programs?

Yes, all of our curriculi are developmentally appropriate activities as set forth by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and are in alignment with the Early Learning Content Standards required by the Ohio Department of Education.

How may I learn more about your indoor and outdoor facilities?

We require that all parents visit our center before enrolling a child. At the time of your visit, you will tour our 7,500 square feet of interior space and our 25,000 square feet of outdoor learning environments.

Is it true that your tuition rates are an outstanding value?

Yes! We have various rates for infants, preschool, before and after school, part-time, full-time, kindergarten, multi-child, and school-aged children at our Fairfield Daycare Center.
